Getting to New Windsor

The Town of New Windsor is conveniently located in Orange County, New York, approximately 55 miles north of New York City. New Windsor is located in the eastern part of the county, bordering the Town of Newburgh, City of Newburgh, Town of Cornwall, Town of Hamtonburgh, and the Hudson River.

New Windsor is reachable from New York City and points south via Metro North Trains. There are two lines that service the area. The Port Jervis Line via Penn Station (transfer at Secaucus) stops in Salisbury Mills, minutes from New Windsor. The Hudson Line from Grand Central stops in Beacon, on the other side of the Hudson River from New Windsor. From Beacon a ferry connects to Newburgh, minutes from New Windsor, or travelers may take the Newburgh Beacon Bridge.
