New Windsor Waste Water Treatment Plant Upgrade Project

Below are charts outlining the impact the financing of the Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) Upgrade Project will have on the annual sewer tax bill for a Typical Single-Family Home.

The WWTP Upgrade is a sewer project that benefits all 24 sewer districts within the Town. Therefore, the cost is shared equally amongst all 24 districts, on a per point basis (the sewer debt point schedule can be viewed in the Town’s Standard Schedule of Fees).  The estimated cost per sewer point is $26.45.  A typical single-family home is assigned 10 points.  Therefore, the tax bill increase will be approximately $265.  However, the increase will be gradual, as it will be phased in over the next five years, 2025 through 2029.

Please contact Supervisor Bedetti's office at (845) 563-4610 or via email with any questions or concerns.
