Refuse normally picked up on Friday will be picked up on Thursday, 2/13. Refuse normally picked up on Monday will be picked up on Tuesday, 2/18. Related Articles Town Offices Closed Monday, December 2nd Due to Inclement Weather All town offices will be closed on Monday, December 2nd due to inclement weather. Refuse scheduled to be picked up on Monday will still be picked up. This includes the normal Monday pickup, as well as the rescheduled pickup for Friday, November, 29. The Town Board workshop scheduled for Monday December 2nd, will be held on Tuesday, December 3rd at 7pm. Town Offices Closed & Court Cancelled Tuesday, December 17 New Windsor Town Hall & Recreation Offices will be closed on Tuesday, December 17th due to the impending winter storm. Court scheduled for Tuesday for Justice Meyers has been cancelled. Refuse will be picked up as normal. New Windsor Town Offices New Years closing All town offices will close at 12pm on New Years Eve, December 31st and remain closed on Wednesday, January 1st. Additionally, the Town Clerk's office will be closed on Thursday, January 2nd for training. Refuse normally picked up on Tuesday will be picked up as scheduled. Refuse normally picked up on Wednesday will be picked up on Thursday, January 2nd. Town of New Windsor in contact with Verizon regarding Fios service in town Town Supervisor Meyers has contacted Verizon regarding their ability to provide Fios service to New Windsor residents. Throughout the month of January Supervisor Meyers’ office has been in touch with the Verizon Director of State Government Affairs, and also the director directly responsible for the Mid-Hudson and Westchester area for Verizon. Both explained that Verizon’s current position is fulfilling their existing signed franchise agreements with other towns, cities and villages. Verizon is not entertaining or committing to any new franchise agreements at this time. Verizon has agreed to monitor the town’s request. Verizon and the Town will revisit this issue in six months to see if Verizon’s position has changed. Town Offices Closure & Refuse Pickup Changes for Thanksgiving Town offices will be closed 11/28 & 11/29 for Thanksgiving. Refuse normally picked up on Thursday will be picked up on Wednesday, 11/27.
