Public Notice - Bonding for STP Upgrades Public Notice - Fugo Advertisement for Bids - Manhole #8 Riser Section Removal Project ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS TOWN OF NEW WINDSOR ORANGE COUNTY, NEW YORK MANHOLE # 8 RISER SECTION REMOVAL PROJECT General Notice Town of New Windsor (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: MANHOLE # 8 RISER SECTION REMOVAL PROJECT Bids for the Project will be received at the Town of New Windsor Clerk’s Office, located at 555 Union Ave, New Windsor, NY, until Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at 11:00 AM local time. At that time, Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project includes the following work: Removal of existing manhole riser sections for Manhole #8, which is part of the existing Caesars Lane WWTP outfall system. Riser sections previously damaged and exposed during the Hurricane Irene Storm Event in August of 2011 will be demolished, removed, and properly disposed of. Contractor will access the site utilizing a work barge platform placed in the Moodna Creek to limit disturbance. Obtaining the Bidding Documents The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: MHE Engineering, D.P.C. 33 Airport Center Drive, Suite 202, New Windsor, NY 12553 Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:30 am and 5:00 pm beginning on June 27, 2023. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Only those persons whose name and address are on record as having obtained the Contract Documents will be permitted to bid and issued the Addendums, if any. Digital copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained online through a secure electronic link for a non-refundable fee of fifty dollars ($50.00), paid by bank check made payable to MHE Engineering, D.P.C. The Town Board Meeting Agenda for Wednesday will be posted on Monday. Town Board workshops are always held the Monday before the Town Board Meeting (occasionally Tuesday if a Town Holiday falls on a Monday). Often, residents may only see the Town Board meetings where the Board votes on the listed Agenda items, which is held in the courtroom on the first Wednesday of the month. The Town Board workshops are where the Supervisor and board members discuss the issues that will be voted on at the Town Board meeting, as well as other ongoing Town issues. The workshop meetings are always open to the public, and held at 7pm in the Supervisor’s conference room at Town Hall. As part of Supervisor Meyers new Open Government policy, the workshop agendas will be posted ahead of time and shared on social media in addition to the regular Town Board Agendas. Town Court Update - October 15th Court Updated Status: October 15, 2020 *** UPDATE: The Court Lobby will be open Monday through Friday 11 AM – 3 PM to file new cases, answering Vehicle and Traffic Tickets, which include: initial plea to the summons; providing documentation that insurance and/or registration was in effect when issued the VTL Summons; vehicle defect issues have been corrected and paying fines, along with any court filings. When visiting the court lobby 11 AM- 3 PM, you must enter through the front entrance of Town Hall. All court appearances 3 PM or later must enter through the side Courtroom entrance. The Town of New Windsor Court Room is currently limiting in-person appearances for criminal arraignments, hearings and trials, small claim matters, Town Code violations, vehicle and traffic and civil proceedings.
