27 September Catskill Aqueduct Shutdown: 10/2/21 - 1/17/22 September 27, 2021 By Patrick Mangan General 0 The New York City Department of Environmental Protection will be shutting down the Catskill Aqueduct on October 2, 2021 for the fourth and final portion of the Catskill Aqueduct repair project. This will be a 15 week shutdown through January 17, 2022. During this time the Town will be using its well systems and also drawing water from the Delaware Aqueduct through an interconnect with the Town of Newburgh. Leak Repair & Possible Shutdown: Monday, April 20 - Route 9w area There will be a leak repair on Monday, April 20, with a possible water shut down for Route 9w, from Silver Spring Rd to 3206 Route 9w (Orange County Pediatric).
