Then honor those who paid the ultimate sacrifice, cheer on our veterans, local Fire Departments, EMS, Police Department, School Bands, and many other organizations marching in the parade along Route 94. The Town will be dedicating a Memorial bench including a section of steel from the World Trade Center, a reminder that we will and should never forget this day. The Memorial will be held on the Town Hall grounds starting at 5pm and all are welcome to attend. George J. Cancellation of the Memorial Day Parade & Service on May 17 Out of an abundance of caution due to ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Town of New Windsor has cancelled the Memorial Day Parade & Service scheduled for Sunday, May 17th. The Memorial Day Service will be rescheduled for a date in the future when it is safe to hold. Special Day for Memorial Day Ceremony and Parade Thank you to all of the local veterans groups, first responders, bands, scouts, town officials, and more who participated in and attended our annual Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony and Parade this past Sunday!
