Related Articles Hydrant Flushing begins Sept 28th We will begin flushing hydrants throughout the Town of New Windsor and on Stewart Properties and Firthcliffe Heights area of Cornwall on September 28, 2020 and continue through October 16, 2020. Hydrant Flushing : May 3 - May 21, 2021 Attention New Windsor Water Customers: The Town of New Windsor water department will begin flushing fire hydrants on Monday, May 3 and continue through Friday, May 21. Town residents and Stewart Airport occupants, as well as the Firthcliffe Heights section of Cornwall may experience some water discoloration and low water pressure during this time. Hydrant Flushing: May 11 - May 22 Our water department will be conducting hydrant flushing, which is a routine maintenance procedure. This will begin on May 11, 2020 through May 22, 2020 between the hours of 9am to 3pm . You may experience dirty water and/or low pressure. We apologize for the inconvenience. Town Offices Closed Monday, December 2nd Due to Inclement Weather All town offices will be closed on Monday, December 2nd due to inclement weather. Refuse scheduled to be picked up on Monday will still be picked up. This includes the normal Monday pickup, as well as the rescheduled pickup for Friday, November, 29. The Town Board workshop scheduled for Monday December 2nd, will be held on Tuesday, December 3rd at 7pm. Town Board Workshop Agenda - Monday, January 13, 2020 Below is the Town Board Workshop Agenda for Monday, January 13. The Town Board Meeting Agenda for Wednesday will be posted on Monday. Town Board workshops are always held the Monday before the Town Board Meeting (occasionally Tuesday if a Town Holiday falls on a Monday). Often, residents may only see the Town Board meetings where the Board votes on the listed Agenda items, which is held in the courtroom on the first Wednesday of the month. The Town Board workshops are where the Supervisor and board members discuss the issues that will be voted on at the Town Board meeting, as well as other ongoing Town issues. The workshop meetings are always open to the public, and held at 7pm in the Supervisor’s conference room at Town Hall. As part of Supervisor Meyers new Open Government policy, the workshop agendas will be posted ahead of time and shared on social media in addition to the regular Town Board Agendas. The public is encouraged to attend a workshop if there is an issue being discussed that they have an interest in. 2020 Town Board Agendas and Minutes Leak Repair & Possible Shutdown: Monday, April 20 - Route 9w area There will be a leak repair on Monday, April 20, with a possible water shut down for Route 9w, from Silver Spring Rd to 3206 Route 9w (Orange County Pediatric).
