ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

THE TOWN OF NEW WINDSOR, ORANGE COUNTY, NEW YORK, WILL RECEIVE SEALED BIDS FOR:

ONE (1) – 12.35 CU.YD. DUMP BODY
WITH WING AND TRIP EDGE PLOW

At The Office of The Town Clerk, 555 Union Avenue, Town of New Windsor, Orange County, New York, Until 10:00 A.M. Eastern Time, on February 21, 2023 at which time all bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Information For Bidders, form of Bid And Specifications will be available on February 3, 2023 and may be examined at, and copies thereof obtained, at said Town Clerk’s Office.

STATEMENT OF NON-COLLUSION:  Bidders on Contracts are required to execute a non-collusive bidding affidavit pursuant to Section 103(d) of the General Municipal Law of the State of New York. 

IRAN DIVESTMENT ACT:  By submission of this bid, each bidder and each person signing on behalf of any bidder certifies, and in the case of a joint bid, each party thereto certifies as to its own organization, under penalty of perjury, that to the best of its knowledge and belief, each bidder is not on the list created pursuant to paragraph (b) of subdivision 3 of section 165-a of the State Finance Law.

The Town of New Windsor hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in regard to any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the ground of race, gender, color or national origin in consideration of an award.

THE TOWN BOARD OF THE TOWN OF NEW WINDSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO WAIVE ANY INFORMALITIES IN, OR TO REJECT ANY OR ALL OF THE BIDS RECEIVED.

BIDS FOR SERVICES SHALL NOT INCLUDE EXCISE, SALES, OR COMPENSATING USE TAXES.

Subject to the provisions of Article 28, Part III of the New York State Tax Law, the Owner is exempt from payment of sales and compensating use taxes of the State of New York and cities and counties on all materials supplied to the Owner pursuant to this contract. 

 

NO BIDDER MAY WITHDRAW HIS BID WITHIN 60 DAYS AFTER ACTUAL DATE OF BID OPENING.
